    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone seeking an understanding of the inner-workings and functions of the human body. It was extremely in-depth and the textbook used in the course offered a great deal of simplified glossaries and explanation for even a novice student of the sciences.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of my own body and its countless functions and abilities. During this course I became enlightened of the steps I needed to take to improve my own physical and emotional health as well as, my energy levels. Moreover, it furthered my knowledge of the integumentary system which was important for me a licensed esthetician.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Time management is everything! I took this class as an accelerated 7-week course while working two jobs and it forced me to put myself on a schedule to get things done in a timely manner. Reading the material was only the half of it. There were weekly exams, case studies and labs due as well for each chapter completed but those assignments helped me to gain a better understanding of the material as well.
