Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Public speaking is something everyone has to do every day, whether it be at home or out in public. It is good to freshen and strengthen one's public speaking skills.

    Course highlights:

My public speaking skills have improved. I will say that my previous skills in researching helped. We mostly talked about intellectual topics, even for our "How To" speech. The best part of the class was when we got into improv. It was hilarious! The professor even got involved. Thinking on my feet and never expecting what the people would say to or about me was fun. I've learned that memorization is key to this course. If I have the memorization down then I will have more confidence when giving my speech.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorization! Memorization is very important in this course. If you memorize your speech and act confident while giving it then you'll be fine. Someone in my class actually gave a speech on faking confidence. Just feign confidence. I should know, I'm not that confident myself, but by feigning it my speech came out better in a way. Good luck if you want to take this course. Remember confidence and memorization. Believe in yourself.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, simply because everyone needs to know how to speak in front of people. The professor made the class enjoyable and rewarding, even for a naturally good speaker.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was learning the different aspects of public speaking, as I did not know much about how to form a successful speech before this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it - you will learn a lot. You will be happy that you did.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

When i first scheduled Public Speaking I was very nervous. I'm not one to stand up and talk in front of a big crowd. This class though made me realize its not all that bad. I enjoyed the multiple speeches we had to give and getting to listen to everyone's point of view.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you can't be scared to share your opinions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Give yourself enough time to prepare yourself for the speech. You may think you know the speech front and back but when you get in front of a crowd it becomes a whole new ball game. Calm your nerves/
