Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, simply because everyone needs to know how to speak in front of people. The professor made the class enjoyable and rewarding, even for a naturally good speaker.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was learning the different aspects of public speaking, as I did not know much about how to form a successful speech before this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it - you will learn a lot. You will be happy that you did.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

When i first scheduled Public Speaking I was very nervous. I'm not one to stand up and talk in front of a big crowd. This class though made me realize its not all that bad. I enjoyed the multiple speeches we had to give and getting to listen to everyone's point of view.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you can't be scared to share your opinions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Give yourself enough time to prepare yourself for the speech. You may think you know the speech front and back but when you get in front of a crowd it becomes a whole new ball game. Calm your nerves/

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it will definitely help you become a better speaker. Although I took the class online, I still learned a lot of helpful tips about public speaking and it has given me confidence.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were being able to recored yourself and see what quirks you do when speaking and engaging in good conversation with my professor. He was definitely a good professor; very responsive and an "on the ball" type of person.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give would be to not wait until last minute to record your speeches because anything can happen such as computer failure. If you had not turned in your speech before this occurrence, you could obtain a zero for the grade. Do not procrastinate on your outlines either and definitely speak extemporaneously.
