    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Its a great introduction into learning about biblical theology in a fun, relaxing, and fun enviroment

    Course highlights:

I learned to better interpret the bible by reading it in context of the that time it was written. I also learned doctrinally sound theology about Scripture, God, The Trinity, Revelation, and Creation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, Study, Study! Memorize the definitions, pay attention and turn in work on time. Engage the prof. in class and dont be afraid to ask questions

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took Intro to Theology with Tom Allen and absolutely loved it! He is very easy to relate to, and he did a great job of keeping the class fun and interesting. One of my favorite aspects was that he was not afraid to bring up the difficult aspects. He brought up questions that I have never had to really dig into before, and I think it helped to strengthen my faith in having to sort through these things. He definitely challenged us all to figure out exactly what we believe in and to make our faith our own - something every Christian college freshman should be challenged to do!

    Course highlights:

I think my favorite part of this course was just being able to talk about deep theological issues. I enjoyed being able to dig deeper into my faith and figure out what I believed about certain topics - not just what my parents believe.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open-minded when you are going into this course. Do not be afraid to question things that you have been told all of your life, but instead be prepared to discover what you actually believe about them.
