    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I liked this course because the content we read is relevant or at least interesting. It is easy to create debates around because the articles are very controversial. Especially with the demographic enrolled in this college, you will get many different views on the subjects that are discussed. Be ready to write a lot of essays though!

    Course highlights:

I learned more about writing essays. I thought I was proficient in high school, and I was, but I learned how to further develop and create professional essays. I also was able to develop more of a professional writing style and I now find myself able to write in many different styles for different pieces, which is very helpful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you stay on top of the essays assigned before you find yourself a few days before the final day of class and you have several papers to write!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Walters is an excellent instructor for this course. It is a refresher to writing different types of papers and what professors are looking for in it. The first draft we share with another student for peer review and the second draft we meet one on one with Walters and she reads our papers and gives us feedback to what we should do in the final draft. Amazing help along the way it is definitely helpful.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course is when we have conferences all week, we don't have class. Which gives us more time to write our papers. I didn't really learn anything because it was just refreshing the basics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure when the assignment is given to you start it right away so your not drowning in work at the last minute.
