    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend any class with J. Harris because she cares so deeply for all her students and wants for us all to succeed. She is passionate about nursing and helping students become the best nurses they can be.

    Course highlights:

In this intro course I learned a lot about the history of nursing I didn't know before and it showed me how strong the pioneers of nursing were to challenge themselves the way they did.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on the major assignments because that's almost all there is. Lots of projects with some added note cards, which you definitely want to do because the grades on those add up fast or fall fast.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Lacey was an excellent teacher. Every subject we were on she went into depth about it. She told us she wanted to make sure we had all the information we could get on nursing before we decided if we wanted to take part in nursing. She set up study groups for the big tests. This class is also amazing to take. It basically gives you a scope of the nursing world. Some people are on the fence if they want to take part in this field, and this class will definitely help you figure it out.

    Course highlights:

The speakers that we had were amazing. Some were students that were almost done with the program and some were alumni. I also loved how prepared the teacher was every class. The beginning of the year we got the course list so we were prepared too.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely pay attention so you can find out if this is what you want to do. Its not a hard class, you can pass easily. But this class isn't just about passing. Its about figuring out what this whole field is about and what you can do with it.
