    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A LOT of background knowledge is expected out of students. Professor simply goes up to blackboard rights down problems and expects students to follow along. Online assignments are generally easy. Textbook is not useful.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to learn myself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a tutor or have study buddies!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As an Engineer, Analytics & Calculus I is a required course, therefore, I will say why you should take it with Dr. Duke. You should take it with Dr. Duke because she is a teacher who genuinely wants you to succeed. There were many times when I would spend hours in her office trying to grasp a concept that I just couldn't understand, and she was always there to help.

    Course highlights:

On the very basic level, what I learned from Analytics & Calculus I was the framework for a part of mathematics that I will be using for the rest of my life, but deeper than that I learned a lot about solving problems which look impossible.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Preferably, find a friend who has taken this class before. So much of this class is about understanding that, chances are, you will not get it when you first go through the material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Calculus is a fundamental math course that can be applied to almost every area of study. It combines all of the courses learned in elementary and intermediate math and reveals application into the real world.

    Course highlights:

The professor was very amicable and willing to help students with homework and questions. It is a difficult subject, but a necessary evil.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always keep up with homework and never be afraid to ask questions.
