Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class teaches you almost everything a teacher will need about child development and the best ways to approach different students. The book we used is excellent and went into great details. You will learn many different theories that you will need to take to heart as a teacher.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite parts of the class is the requirement to get in class hours for observation reports. This was very interesting to do and it is actually not very difficult to find an hour then and there to visit a school. You are also able to go home to do this during breaks. I enjoyed reading Generation iY and learning more about what makes our generation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. This is not an easy A, you really have to work hard and not take this lightly.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was a great introduction to the education department. This is a good course to take if you are not sure if you are positive about being a teacher.

    Course highlights:

In this course I gained real knowledge of what it truly meant to be a teacher and to be an advocate for children. The required observations in classrooms of the grade I am thinking about teaching helped as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course lightly. Use the time in this class to really think about if you want the responsibility of being a teacher or not.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

To get into the career field of working with children, the most important aspect of it all is child development. We should no everything about an child from their head to their sweet little toes. If we understand their development, we can help promote positive growth and a positive life.

    Course highlights:

basic and important facts about the child and how their bodies work

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It can be challenging, but I personally think it is fun and cool to know what the child can do.
