    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Degnan makes this material very easy to understand. She's always available to help if you ever have an issue, and she's always approachable.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge into how our minds work and why certain people act the way that they do. Professor Degnan taught me a lot that I've been able to apply into my everyday life, and it's helped me improve the relationships in my life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study little bits at a time. This course is very information based so don't try to cram it all in the night before. If you take good notes and pay attention to the lectures, you'll do just fine in this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course with Ms. Caroline Degnan because she makes the class fun. You learn about the basics of psychology and how the mind works in a creative and very interactive forum. Ms. Degnan makes psychology interesting to any major not just psychology majors. This class also teaches you so much about yourself and will help you more than you will know.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the in class assignments. You learn a lot about people and how the world works in terms of why people do the things they do and what makes the world truly go around. I learned not only psychology but life lessons that I will take with me past my education at RMU. You do a lot of in class assignments which is a great incentive to go to class and you work in small groups a lot which allows you to make a whole lot of new friends. Especially as a new freshman this is very helpful because you get to know people.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you must do the work. If you go to class and do the homework assignments you are almost guaranteed a high grade. If you put in the effort you will reap the rewards. As a study tip, I recommend making Quizlets or flashcards. Psychology is a lot of definitions and a lot of different people.
