Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was insightful and beyond a 'general' communications class. The Professor wrote the textbooks we use in class, which were about his own theory of communication. The class wasn't extremely difficult, but it was hands-on. You give 3 speeches and do one group project. There are one or two smaller project you do as well. Most people who put effort into their speeches got a B or high C. The final was super easy. He can a test bank. It was multiple choice and true/false.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the DAST Theory of communication. DAST stands for Desire, Affinity, Space, and Time and refers to how these four things affect our willingness/unwillingness to communicate. It was very interesting. I learned things about myself and other people. A lot of psychology behind human communications.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My best advice for this class is to READ the RUBRICS for any and all projects/speeches. He outlines what he wants, how he wants it. If you want to do well in this class, read the rubrics.
