Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would recommend this course because material itself so interesting and it really teaches you so much about American law and the legal system itself. Also, professor Lawrence teaches in such a style that makes the curriculum of the course so easy to understand and to remember. She keeps everybody interested in the material and makes the students comfortable in the classroom environment.
The highlights of the course include different kinds of law. Some examples of what information is highlighted and focused on is contract law, property law, and criminal law and procedure. I learned so much about the specifics of law and how there is so much information regarding each area of law. For example, the components of criminal law are so different than the components of contract law. However, having learned about all these types of law, I can also understand how they can all be interconnected in a way under the legal system in the United States.

Advice for students:
To anyone considering this course, I would advise to do the readings before class. Professor Lawrence is a great teacher, but reading before class, whether it be textbook material or online articles, really makes the information easier to understand once you get to class and makes it possible for you to participate in class discussions about each topic, which is a quality Professor Lawrence really values in her students.
