Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Since she extensive background in the subject, learning for her is great because you feel as though you're getting a good amount of information out of the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about basic criminal law, such as court room proceedings and how cops handle their part of the system. For example, types of searches and the different styles of policing.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every class, I don't care how tired you are, it's worth it. Also, ALWAYS look at the study guides. She isn't a tricky professor and, as long as you pay attention, she lets you know what she expects.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class with Professor Irons. She has so much background on this subject and knows exactly what she is talking about. Everything she talks about in the class discussions makes sense 100% and is exactly what is on the exam. Her exams are tough, but they are fair. As long as you attend class and pay attention and WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF HER MOUTH you will be A OK. She challenges you, but in a good way.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about each and every law enforcement agency because it gave me a sense of what I might want to go into when I finish college since I am a CJ major. I never knew each and every function of local police, the FBI, etc. It is surprising to hear about certain things because I always thought of the police just fighting crime, but that is not all that they do nor is it their main focus.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every class, take down everything that comes out of her mouth (even the examples she gives because that helps for when you need to explain answers on the exams), participate in discussion bc if not she will call on you when you least expect it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

yes, it was a great class. It helps you see both sides of a topic and pushes you to look deeper into the subject.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to view controversal issues with an open mind, and not just one side of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open minded, he will challenge you and the debates are cool but it helps you to do alot of research on the subject matter and you need to be persuasive in order to win over the audience.
