Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In this course, it is absolutely important for you to pay attention, and be honesty with yourself when you ask yourself if you can see yourself doing one of the assignments as a job position. This intro course will tell you all that you need to know about public health, and if you do not enjoy this course, then you know that public health is not for you. However, public health is broad so you may enjoy one of the subspecialties that require knowledge of public health.

    Course highlights:

I learned how important it is to know about your culture, race, ethnicity, community, access to care, socioeconomic status. This information is significant to everyone's future development. Also, I learned how important it is to be culturally sensitive and to be aware of language barriers as those factors play a major role in access to healthcare.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course very serious although it may seem to be as easy as an elective. It is required for a reason!
