    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because what I read in this class changed the way I think and perceive society and reality. I decided to minor in philosophy after this class hoping to learn more ideas that would change the way I think.

    Course highlights:

I was struggling with depression for several years leading up to 2016. What I learned in this class changed my life because the way I think changed significantly. I learned that we are all extremely lucky to be alive and that the greatest problems of society are caused by greed and ignorance along with many other vices. I learned to create my own purpose and create my own happiness instead of always looking for it from somewhere else.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It's an easy class, and it's required at Temple University for all students. You could pass without reading much at all, but where's the fun in that.
