    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course if you are a marketing/advertising major, or even someone who is simply interested in the subject. You will analyze a lot of real world situations in order to learn more about the thought that goes into creating ads, as well as the process of integrating a product or service into another country and adapting to the new environment. Professor Maynard is one of those professors that LOVES the subject matter; he's super enthusiastic and has a somewhat corny but enjoyable sense of humor.

    Course highlights:

A lot of creative based assignments. You will be given a prompt and be asked to design an ad campaign based around it. For example, one assignment asked for three mock ads for a luxury baggage company that gives off a cocky, pompous vibe. A lot of article reading too. You will have homework due once a week but it shouldn't take more than about an hour.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you like the subject matter, you'll do fine. Also, feel free to ask any questions - Professor Maynard is very friendly and open.
