Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Coming from a performing arts high school, this course reminded me just why I love acting. The course allows you to be creative, interact with various people, and learn more about the art of acting.

    Course highlights:

Working on monologues was a highlight. Having a monologue ready to present is key to being a good actor. Several weeks were dedicated to understanding the in's and out's of the monologue. We learned who the characters were and why they were saying what they were saying. Once the monologues were presented, you were able to see the growth of both the monologue and the actor.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try not to pick an 8AM class. Although the class itself is enjoyable, the 8AM slot can make the class unbearable. Also, be prepared to meet after class to rehearse and buy plays & tickets to shows.
