    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for it topic, as race is a very prevalent thing in the world, and always has been. I feel that this is very important as many people don't understand racism unless it has directly effected them. The professor for this course was also outstanding, I would give her alone five stars. She was a new teacher this year but it was far fro feeling this way. She was very respectful of the opinions of the students even if she didn't agree, and she encouraged us to question her so we could thoroughly form our own opinions. This class satisfied one of my gen-ed requirements but it was also fun to take.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the diversity of the topic. I believe that I really benefitted from the fact that I was taking this class during an election year, but it would be beneficial to anyone.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and take plenty of notes. The professor is also very strict on class participation. Join in on the discussions in class it is about half of your grade. There are quite a few movies that you will have to analyze through out the course along with readings, these are really the only large requirements for the class.
