    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was an easy class with minimum work except for one presenation and our mid term and final that is highly discussion based. I ended up with an A at the end of the semester and Professor Shore made it very easy to earn this grade! He told us ahead of time what to study for the midterm and final which made it easy to get an A on those as long as you brushed up on the material.

    Course highlights:

I love that this class is discussion based. It was interesting to see how people I attend college feel about gender roles and the relationships between genders. It was very easy to state your opinion without feeling like you would get attacked for it. Professor Shore promoted and very easy going and respectful environment.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you read the articles and participate in class from time to time, you should have no problem passing!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed how interactive the professor was with our class, it didn't feel like a lecture. I also liked the discussion my professor allowed between my peers, I actually felt like I had a voice in her class.

    Course highlights:

I learned that gender is a complex topic and is more than just male and female. One important thing I took away form the course was the understanding between gender and sex. Sex refers to the biological difference between male and female; whereas gender refers to how an individual identifies. Learning this helps me understand others behavior as well as how to interact with my peers who may identify differently.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say for students considering this course, go in with an open mind. The way you thought about gender and how individuals should behave and why they behave the way they do will completely change after you have completed the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very interesting topic and the teacher is not a difficult one

    Course highlights:

I learned that we look at gender as a binary thing when it is a completely grey area.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to always attend classes and do as much extra credit as offered.
