    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are on the pre-health track. It is actually a prereq requirement if you wish to go into pre-health. This course is extremely challenging and will require a lot of attention and studying compared to other classes at Temple.

    Course highlights:

You learn a lot within one semester. It is condensing so much information in a small amount of time that makes studying for exams and the exam itself tricky. But if you have a knack for retaining information and enjoy learning, this is the class for you.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Time management! You must be thorough, organized and most importantly have very good time management skills. Anatomy will take up a lot of your study time. From completing quizzes to learnsmart assignments and studying for exams, you absolutely cannot wait until the night before an exam to study!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for any students interested in the human body and how it works. Anatomy gave m the opportunity to learn all about the human body, something very necessary as a new nursing student.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the additional lab that was mandatory along with the lecture sessions. The lab course used models and 3D figures in order to have students fully grasp the idea of the course and what we were learning.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Before taking this course, make sure the human anatomy is something you are interested in. If not, the course will be a lot more difficult in terms of paying attention and understanding if you are not interested.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course sets a standard for how students should go about their studies. There is a lot of information and the student needs to begin good study habits to do well in this course.

    Course highlights:

I felt as if i learned the most in the labs. The hands on experience was more thorough than the large lecture, and the learning environment was more personal being one of twenty students instead of one of five hundred.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to put many hours into studying, but know that in the end you will be one step closer to your goals.
