    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved that course. George was so much fun and has so much passion for the subject. Plus, he would bring his dog to class occasionally!

    Course highlights:

I took this class during my first semester as a journalism major and I would definitely recommend doing it your first semester. I learned an overview of journalism and its history, helping me put other classes into context.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course during your first semester as a journalism major to help put other journalism classes into context. As long as you do the study guides and study them, you will pass the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Journalism and Society is a great class, especially with George Miller because you will learn a lot from him about journalism and why journalism affects our society.

    Course highlights:

I learned about different media outlets, such as magazines, blogs, editorial, etc. I learned that journalism has a huge effect in out society and people need it a lot.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them to take this course because you will learn about each type of journalism outlets and which one you really want to do in the future.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have not started my fall semester because I couldn't come up with the rest of the money due before school started.

    Course highlights:

Didn't attend yet. I haven't learned anything because I didn't start yet at Temple University.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I did attend meetings in the summer and they just basically said you go as far as much work you put in. They are looking for people to volunteer and do newspapers for the school and to join clubs and give their ideas going forward.
