    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a mandatory course if you are a Biology major. I would recommend Biology major to take this course. However, if you're not a bio major don't go for it. It is not worth the stress.

    Course highlights:

The course focuses on the history of evolution, systems of the body, fungi, plants, animals, and protist.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Everyone always mentions the brutality of a single course and chalks it up to be a weed-out class. Well, this is one of those courses. Be prepare to read every night. The lecture isn't very helpful, but it's mandatory because they take attendance every time. The professor mumbles a lot and you can barely hear what he is saying. The exams are tough, average is usually below passing. Yet, there is no such thing as curving. If you dedicate 10 or more hours per week, you have a decent chance at passing. The labs are fun, but the practical for the labs can be a bit brutal. If you're like me and you don't like being rushed during exams, you will not enjoy the lab practical. The final exam is 30% of your entire grade. This is your make it or break it. Fortunately enough I made it.
