Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have always been interested in psychology so I thought this course would be perfect for me. I didn't expect to get so much out of it, though! The professor, Jean Boyer, is so into the subjects we discuss in class and is always very understanding. Each class is different so you never get bored, we will have presentations, watch videos, class discussions, and group work.

    Course highlights:

This course talks about the mind and different mental disorders. During this course, I gained lots of insight on mental illness. I learned how people are treated differently and the history of mental illnesses. I also learned about specific disorders which I was interested in, through presentations and papers.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are looking for a great psychology class on mental illness, this course is perfect for you, you don't even have to be majoring in the subject which is nice. There are few papers in the class and a couple group projects. You get to pick your topic on each though which is really nice and allows you to gain knowledge on topics you are curous about!
