    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because for one it is required. Moreover, I really enjoyed Kyle Harris as a professor. He was very thorough. This class also kept me working hard. I had to truly earn my grade by studying, doing the reading, and truly paying attention.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much more about the body, in it of itself. It truly was fascinating how everything seemed to be interconnected. The highlights consisted of Harris' antics, he was just so funny and enjoyable to learn from, especially with a difficult course. He also very much blunt, which i appreciated. His examples certainly helped when applying the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

with this class, there is no "not studying". You truly need to know AND understand the material. It's one thing to know it, but you truly need to understand the material in order to do well on the tests. You need to read, study, ask questions. You have to engage and be attentive.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is recommended for anyone who's major requires it, or anyone with a genuine interest for the human body function and structure. It is a rigorous course, so it crucial to have good time management and work ethic. It's challenging but manageable.

    Course highlights:

You learn something new every day, and they're interesting facts. For example, I learned today that adipose (fat) tissue has blood vessels, which is why too much of it is unhealthy, since it requires the heart to work harder than it really should.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes on the reading and in lecture. Pay attention. Study at least an hour a day. You don't need to have background knowledge but it certainly helps.
