    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a general require requirement for students majoring is the sciences. It is a very intellectually engaging class and it will provide the tools needed to read primary literature, write scientific papers, and practice basic lab skills.

    Course highlights:

I really like the section of the course that taught about ticks and lime disease. It was a real world issue and I liked that I knew which stage of the ticks where the most dangerous and what season they were most active. I also liked learning about the locations where most ticks would be located (areas where a lot green are cut down)

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the lab protocol before class, there will be a quiz. If you get out of lab early, take the time to work on your assignment right then and there.
