    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is the single best course that I have taken at Villanova thus far. Professor McFalls opened my eyes to so many different aspects of sociology that I had never thought about before. He is really entertaining and is always able to keep our attention (despite the course being early in the morning!). He also genuinely cared about his students and wanted us to get good grades.

    Course highlights:

I had never had a sociology class before this so I wasn't that sure of what to expect. We go over many different aspects of society such as politics, family structure, religions, evolutionary aspects, etc. I gained an extensive amount of knowledge from this course and feel that it is actually pretty relevant to my life.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to actually go to class everyday and take notes on his lectures. The course seems amazingly easy at first, but the main assignments that comprise your grade are the midterm and final. There are no specific textbook assignments, but the information from them is on the midterm and final so you need to be doing these readings on your own.
