Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
You learn so much in this class, matrices and linear algebra are cool and also give you new ways to think about problems. This class is different from Calculus, it's much more logic oriented and helps you to understand the math you're doing rather than simply plug in formulas.
Course highlights:
I greatly improved my problem solving skills and also learned new ways to solve systems of equations. Matrices come into play in many different applications and are quick ways to solve difficult equations. Most importantly, this class teaches you logic in going through problems and helps you understand what you're doing to come to an answer.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Keep up with the material every night, even if just for a few minutes. If you get behind it's tough to comprehend the material. Do your homework but go to the professor with any questions and also ask classmates for help if they have a good grasp on the material. A lot of the time, they can help you understand concepts in a more down to earth fashion.
