    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course if you are ready for a challenge and you don't mind working with others. I learned more because I put in the work. You come out of it having written a small novel in French.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Moscatelli is an extremely knowledgeable woman, and doesn't discourage asking the same question several times to gain clarification.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I think you should enjoy french to come degree, have a sense of creativity, and use the grammar concepts that you are comfortable with.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are learning French in college, this course provides you with the grammatical tools you need to communicate effectively through both speech and writing. I would also definitely recommend keeping the textbook if you didn't rent it, as it is very helpful. It contains many grammar exercises to help you practice on your own time if you so desire.

    Course highlights:

When I took this course, it centered around collaborating within a group to write a story, and the syllabus had deadlines to write specific sections of the story. It's definitely a great way of collaborating with your classmates, especially if you enjoy group projects.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For the group writing project, communication with your fellow group members is key. That way, everyone's segment that they wrote will fit together. You all could give each other constructive criticism on their writing as well.
