Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course! I was not a very strong writer in high school and this course helped improve my writing tremendously. I completed this course feeling much more confident in my writing. The professor gave a huge effort to help everyone in the class improve their writing. She was extremely helpful and understanding. All in all, it was a great course that was enhanced by a great professor.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were our three biggest writing assignments: a narrative, rhetorical analysis, and causal analysis. I learned how to effectively use the rhetorical triangle, successfully write a good, solid essay, and how to improve my writing process.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, all you need is an open mind and an attitude that is ready to learn and excel in writing. Come prepared, and the professor will take it from there.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course allows the student taking it to properly understand what an academic assignment should look like as well key steps as to how to go about doing so.

    Course highlights:

What effective writing is in college vs. high school. Also, I learned how to properly drop old habits that would cause my grades to drop.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to an incoming student would be to take this course with Professor Blake. She is a wonderful person who makes the class enjoyable and educational, while still giving each student an experience that will serve them well throughout their journey to success.
