    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Udell lectures for the entire class and his is all over the place with his ideas. It is very hard to get an A on papers in his class as it is like pulling teeth getting help from him on how to improve on papers or to ask what he wants to see in papers.

    Course highlights:

I learned about famous Philosophers and their ideas.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Look for a different Philosophy Professor

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great course on existentialism - never had experience with this topic before.

    Course highlights:

This course is tough - it forces you to look inside and deal with your own beliefs about our existence and purpose. But once you make it out the other side, the insights are powerful.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to be uncomfortable with some of the subject matter, but keep an open mind.

I recommend this course because it will help people so much to understand the world around them, and will open your mind to new and exciting ideas that you may never have thought of before.

I learned to think critically about the world around me, as well as how to engage with it. I learned about new ideas and ways of thinking that had never occurred to me, and I grew so much as a person because of it!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Participate in class discussions. It will help you so much to understand the material and also to really get something out of the class.
