    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helped me understand the knowledge behind reading and how it can be applied to my vocabulary.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course, I learned how to annotate large texts to fully understand the purpose both before and after reading. Also, I learned that teamwork is key to success not only in an academic setting, but in the real world as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

A few things I would like to share with an incoming student considering this class would be to (1) take the class, and (2) pay close attention to the lessons taught. It can be brutal at times, but pays off in the long run. Give it a shot!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Course highlights:

I learned that there are different study skills you can use for different classes. Not all classes use the same way of learning things. so I learned to switch the way I learn and study for different classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you need help understanding the different ways of studying this is best for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend every freshmen to take EDR 100 College study skills with professor Riley because the class will teach students how to properly transition from high school to college.

    Course highlights:

College assignments are more complex than high school assignments this course teaches students how to have a successful college career. In this course I learned what type of learner I am, different study strategies, how to create schedules, time management, proper note taking, and communicate effectively with professors and peers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students who are considering this course is to let them know that the course will only make them a better college student. I know for a fact that they will gain information that they did not know.
