    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was a great class! And Shannon Grugan was an awesome professor. I know I've had my share of professors that tell you read the textbook and give you a test on everything you've read but Professor Grugan will tell you what you need to know and if you don't understand, she will elaborate on the topic without making you feel like a complete idiot.

    Course highlights:

After taking this course, I learned some very basic theories behind why individuals commit crimes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just show up to class and take notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because it gives students the intro and basics to the Criminal Justice courses and major as a whole. If you are interested in pursuing a Criminal Justice degree or if you just want to check out a Criminal Justice class, CRJ 110 is definitely a class I’d recommend because you learn about every aspect of the criminal justice system as a whole before continuing on with the Criminal Justice courses.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning about each individual branch of the criminal justice. I gained knowledge about the sole purpose of each branch and how each is to supposed to carry out their duties to form the entire criminal justice system. We got to go in depth with each section and got to dissect it, trying to point out different flaws in each branch and how we could potentially fix them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would honestly recommend coming into the class with the desire to lean about the criminal justice system, instead of taking it to fill some sort of requirement. If you come in with the desire to learn about the system, that'll make the class all the more enjoyable. I would also recommend studying at least a few hours a day on the subject because there are so many terms and branches that'd one would have to remember.
