Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to those who are looking to review simple math and algebra such as percent problems, word problems, and other algebraic equation formulas such as y=mx+b.

    Course highlights:

This course starts off using an online program called ALEKS. In ALEKS, you will take a pretest that will determine where you are in terms of what the course will entail. The questions mention basic division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is a requirement. If you are taking this, make sure to keep up with the assignments due on ALEKS each week. It is very easy to fall behind, which can result in a lower participation/HW grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is basic but provides new ideas/concepts on old material you may have forgotten in high school algebra.

    Course highlights:

A lot of the material was based on equations and lines on a coordinate plane.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the assigned sections done on the proper due dates. If not, you fall behind and begin loosing points.
