    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course! Professor Nolt respects students as professionals and encourages a healthy dialogue of contemporary health policy debate.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding into the political and economic structures that affect healthcare. There was also a heavy focus on current events that helped to keep the material interesting and relevant.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's a required class for the Public Health major so I would recommend you take it, preferably in your first semester if possible.

    Course highlights:

You start to learn the basics of Public Health, including the different theories and models. Group project on a specific disease and population, plus an intervention method to combat said disease.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

For my class I barely used the book, but it's always a good idea to check with the professor on the first day to see if it's being used at all. It's also a good book to keep throughout your major.
