Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Marietta is an amazing professor. I learned so much from her in one semester than I did in all of my high school English classes. I highly recommend this class to students who don't mind a bit of a challenge and a lot of fun. My papers have greatly improved since I took her class because she truly cares about her students and their ability to write good papers.

    Course highlights:

I know many people already know how to write papers and what format they are supposed to be in but on the off chance that you don't Marietta's class will go over that in far greater detail than you probably want to know. I learned that there is no such thing as good writing, only good re-writing and sometimes re-re-writing. This is a fantastic class for people who are not English majors and really want to improve their writing and know that the grade they get is deserved.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the powerpoints, don't bring your computer to class, and save everything you've written for the class. If you throw it away you WILL regret it later. Also, remember to staple all of your papers. This class has lots of bonus points but you need to work for them. Visit the writing center as often as possible. Don't skip class.
