This class was tough.
The course is required so you have to take it. I took it online with Perkins. I didn't necessarily feel like there was a lot of "teaching" that occurred. This course was mostly moderated through discussion boards. The last half of the course has a deep look at statistics. I recommend that if you have a statistics background to brush up n it before the class however if you are like myself and had never had a statistics class take one or be prepared to watch a lot of YouTube videos. The content of the class was great, if I were to start over though I might select a different instructor.
The bulk of the class covered research proposals and processes. I learned a great deal in reference to various ways to conduct research and methods on how to present your results. In the course of the class you draft a research proposal for something you feel interested in researching. I enjoyed this part of the class. APA formatting is a must which was a new concept to me before starting the course however it was not that difficult to get used to.

Advice for students:
I recommend that if you are able to work ahead, then do it. Reach out to other students if you can. My strategy was to get done with the required reading or the week prior to the start of the week, then I had the rest of the week to work on assignments and research which worked well for me. Do not be afraid to ask the instructor however your initial feedback might not be in depth. If you are persistent he might put together an online collaborate session to help with the last few weeks of the course.
