Pretty easy, overall.
I would definitely recommend General Chemistry I, but only if you enjoy chemistry. Dr.Steel lectures in an old fashion way, on the chalk board, and he can be a tough grader. If you do not enjoy chemistry and you're only taking it to take it, I would not take Steel's class.
We learned the foundations of chemistry. Starting with metric conversions, stoichiometry, bond types, electronconfigurtion, almost what you would expect in a high school chemistry class except it is a little more in depth.

Advice for students:
Make sure you put in the time to study and review material, Dr.Steel teaches you but he also expects you to go our your way to learn.
