Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommended this class because it will be a challenge to be prepare for those who want to study Architecture.

    Course highlights:

I learn the first vocabulary of Architecture, also I started doing models with those words. And I did my first presentation of Architecture

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I will advice to the new students to organize your time to do great models for the class, it will help reach for the final model before the final presentation. And to be positive to receive advices from older students or others professors it will help you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it but with hesitation. Not because the class isn't great, but because architecture is not for everyone. It requires a lot of time, sacrifice, dedication and self motivation. If you aren't prepared for that, then don't take the first design class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot a about spatial concepts, materials, how to make a model, etc. It was very interesting and I love designing and working with my hands.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take on of the summer programs in architecture. Many architecture schools offer classes or workshops geared towards high school students considering architecture. Take it!! It really helps you get a feel of what is to be expected. And if you do decide to pursue architecture, you will already be familiarized with the school, the professors, how things are done, what type of work is expected, etc.
