Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is intellectually engaging, dynamic and joyful in his class. He will always point out citations for his classes and debates, gave us real life examples of his economics and finance and would always answer any question that the student presented him.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the different economic systems: neoliberal capitalism, regulated market system, Co-Op based economy, planned economic system and socialist/communist economic system as well in detail. I leaned how comparative advantages, opportunity costs and the marginal utility rate are all essential functions for a capitalist and utilitarian societies and how these are so engrained in our lives. We also studied economic theorist starting with Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Karl Marx, John Maynard Keynes, Frederich Hayek and Ludwig Von Misses and giving special attention to Hayek, Smith and Misses due to being a micro economics class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, but most importantly, ask the professor if you have any question as its a class that contains a lot of theory and terms that might be unknown for many that are new to economics

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it is one of the best classes that has helped me to understand how the economy works and the price change in the products. This class expands your knowledge and shows how the market is affected by different factors in a drastic way. Therefore, this class is very useful as it shows us how important the economy is in the world and shows us graphically how prices are affected according to the season or situation occurring. The microeconomics class has been one of my favorites this semester.

    Course highlights:

The highlights in this class for me were the factors that affect the demand and supply of a product. With this I realize that having a company is not as easy as we think, we always have to think beyond each time we go to make a decision in it because sometimes a bad decision is just like losing a lot of money. On the other hand, one aspect that I would like to highlight is how this class helps us to get more out of the offers established by the seller, to get more satisfaction of the product and benefits.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

One advice I can give to succeed in this class is to study with time, since the exams are usually of many chapters and contain much definition and mathematical problems. On the other hand, another tip is to simply understand each term and apply them in your journal and so it will make it easy for you to study from the class. It is simply reading and learning the concept, it is not about bottling the material.
