Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in cinema. No previous background in film or theory of cinema is necessary. The readings are light and you get to watch movies in class; movies you would not otherwise watch on your own.
This course helped me become more conscious of philosophical problems presented in films. Also, I became more aware of the aesthetic aspects as well as the decisions a director makes.

Advice for students:
There will be readings assigned and paired with each movie. Read closely and take notes as you watch the movie, for this will help you organize better for the written assignments (three reviews and two essays).
