Pretty easy, overall.
I took this course as a part of the [email protected] program in the Summer of 2013. It was a good, broad overview of the various branches of anthropology and the terms used by experts to study cultures. The workload was moderate (lots of reading), and there was a midterm, a final exam, and a research project.
We got to watch videos, read books, and browse articles that all related to different cultural aspects of the anthropological field. The course's strength is that it's very diverse in what it covers, but it only goes in depth into a few concepts. Class discussions make up a large part of the coursework, so participation is required.

Advice for students:
Find a good place on campus to read- whether that's the Rock, the quad, your dorm, or the cafeteria. The reading isn't hard, but there's a lot of it.
