    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class. It is designed for freshmen, so it allows you to ease into the college experience while learning important skills that you will use throughout college.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me critical thinking skills through analysis of current events. I also learned more about the university and the support services offered because it a course designed for first-year students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a difficult course but it is manageable. The course is required for all first-year students, but the honors level allows for a more rigorous transition into college. It was helpful to get to know other freshmen who were in the honors program and to have events and programs through the class that help in my adjustment to college.
