    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Copeland arranged her class through in class lectures and papers in such a way that the learning was very natural and interesting. The position papers and final assignment was a way to get involved and learn about politics in such a way that one may actually do in the real world.

    Course highlights:

I very much enjoyed the position papers. The position papers included taking a stance on a topic such as the BP Oil Spill, then writing down the background, the problems, and five solutions. You are supposed to be an analyst writing for someone higher up so they can be no longer than two pages.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes in this course. The exams are based on the material you covered in class and all the material you covered in class is in the book. She condenses the material so it is easier to take in and write down. Have to memorize definitions for exams.
