Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course because it was so starkly different than the other computer science courses that I've taken. The professor's teaching style is firm yet fair. The course material is approachable without being too difficult, and the TA's were super helpful when I or my classmates were stuck.

    Course highlights:

I learned the concepts of object-oriented programming using Java while implementing graphical solutions. All of our programming assignments built up to creating a rudimentary, but workable, game.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give to students who are considering taking this course would be to take class attendance seriously, even if attendance isn't mandatory. And to definitely take advantage of the office hours for the TA's if you find yourself unable to conceptualize the material learned in class each week.
