Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course because Prof. Adams makes already interesting material even more interesting to learn.

    Course highlights:

Through taking this course I studied in depth the eleven major organ systems in the human body. I learned a lot about the anatomical structures of the human body which will make it easier to understand physiology when I take it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to stay on top of the material because it is a lot of factual information that builds up throughout the course. If you get behind, it will be hard to catch up successfully.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoy anatomy and with the aspiration of being a physical therapist, it is extremely important knowledge for me to know going into the future. However, with this teacher, it was terrible. I had her for a couple of classes throughout my undergraduate studies and I disliked her teaching style in every class. If there is a possibility of future students taking it with a different teacher I would highly recommend the class.

    Course highlights:

This class created a basis for my future career path. Physical therapy is 100% anatomy driven. It is important to know every muscle, bone, nerve, artery, everything about the body when being a physical therapist. The highlight of this course was getting the base work in knowing the ins and outs of the human body and prepping me for my future courses in a more in-depth anatomy class in graduate school.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read, outline, make flash cards, and study ahead of time. Having the lab concurrent with the class also helped to apply the information from the lecture.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who loves science, and more specifically learning about the human body.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was going to lecture and playing Kahoot before our exams. It was definitely a helpful and fun way to review for our exam.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give to students taking this course is to read ahead for your lectures. To write down questions to bring to class of things you don't understand. Go to her office hours and bring questions, she will be more than happy to help you! Also it looks good with her that you are trying to get help, it will definitely be taken into consideration when it comes down to your final grade. Lastly to go to SI sessions (tutoring) and to form study groups.
