Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is a great introduction to the field of Political Science. The course requires a great deal of remembering things such as amendments, Supreme Court cases, and the names and significance of people in politics.

    Course highlights:

The course was an amazing experience. We as a PSC 113 class watched the first and last presidential debates as a class so that we could get a live chat and discussion happening while we watched them live. I learned about the importance of things such as the electoral college and rights as a citizen.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The class on a technical level is pretty easy, just remembering and applying ideals and concepts throughout the chapters. The hardest part is the personal, if you cannot move out of your personal comfort zone politically, then this class is not for you, there is a lot of discussion on race, gender, religion, and many other "strong topics".

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love political science and i am really interested in it. i decided to take this course and at first i was extremely nervous about it. Professor Dirocco is a great teacher who knows how much information a student can take during a lecture without getting overloaded with information.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was using Tophat. it was a great way to interact in a big lecture of 120+ students. i learned a lot about interest groups and domestic policy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would take really good lecture notes and study really hard for the exams. the exams aren't too hard. that are based on how you can show what you learned.
