Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course for understanding how money works and interest rates. Also gives a breif glimpse into project planning. All of the material was pertinent to industrial engineering.

    Course highlights:

Interest rates and depreciation were both highlights to this course. The project planning section was also interesting, though more time could have been spent on the section.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Chose your term project teammates wisely. Make sure you have a similar schedule so that you have time to work on the project, as the professor does not give time in class to work on the project. Also, do well on the first three tests so that you do not have to take the final.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is set up great. Notes are very clear and you work on example problems in class. Welcomes student input.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot by taking this course. I learned all about calculating interest rates, cash flows, decision-making and the ethics behind everything an engineer does.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and take notes. Reading the book helps.
