    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

She is such a fun and inspiring professor. Does not grade you on what your artwork looks like, but the meaning and effort behind it. If you created it, it is art to her.

    Course highlights:

We got to go to a museum which was really cool and compare artworks. We also went to a show in Providence, which was a hip hop dance performance. We spent a lot of class time discussing art work we do, and working on group projects.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of your assigned projects. They are only pass/fail grades. If you do it, you pass. Also, I can not emphasize enough how important your sketch book is. It is one of the only real grades you receive and make sure you have all of the requirements covered in it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Well, I would recommend the professor. Most of the other branches of the same course seemed to be quite miserable. But my professor was different than the other professors teaching the course.

    Course highlights:

I learned it is okay to not have guidelines and sometimes that helps an individual go to a new level of imagination and creativity in their own minds. And that imagination is then transferred to their art in marvelous ways.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to enroll in Professor McMillan's course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I did really enjoy this class, in the beginning I struggled, but once I got the hang of it and understood the way my professor worked things were easier to understand.

    Course highlights:

I myself am more of an artistic person and the class was mainly focused on historical paintings and music, so for me I was really able to connect with the part of the class where we learned about painting and all the different techniques.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The textbook readings the professor gives you for homework are very helpful. Also he puts the slides on bridges so those are helpful as well. One thing I noticed was the longer you spend on one painting or musical work, the more likely it is that he puts it on the test, so make sure you study those piece a bit more than you would the rest.
