    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is hard enough but with Dr.DeMino it was that much harder. She is a sweet women but an AWFUL professor. A professor can make or break the grade that you get in a class and that is exactly what happened to me. I would have failed had I not gotten help from a different professor because I just couldn't follow DeMino's way of teaching. Steer clear at all costs!

    Course highlights:

There were no highlights. I hated every minute of this class. Math is my worst subject anyway but on top of that having a bad professor did not help.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you get a good instructor and find a study group to work on the out of class assignments and to study for exams with and you should be fine.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Being a successful student in Dr. Eyabi's class is all about attendance. If you attend class regularly and write down all of the notes he writes on the board, you will be extremely successful. The short homework each week is beneficial to learning the material, and he gives resources for practice tests, which look similar to his own. I would recommend getting the Hawkes software on the very first day of class because it is an important contribution to his teaching style; it allows the students to practice problems on their own as well as work the same problems the other students are working and ask questions in class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the lack of homework throughout the semester overall, which allowed for participation in extra curricular activities and extra time to study for other classes, and the precision of Dr. Eyabi's exams as compared to the practice problems he assigned. If the effort to study and attend class is put in, the hard work will pay off.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend completing ALL of the homework because it has a large impact on not only the letter grade, but also the students' overall preparation for the exam. Study groups are also helpful for working through the problems together. He does take attendance, as well.
