    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was difficult to follow because the teacher is a TA and barely spoke English. Trigonometry is difficult enough but the lack of English made it near impossible.

    Course highlights:

I was able to pass! I learned enough trigonometry on my own to be able to pass the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Use the online resources Penn State gives you! You can go to the online math department website and click on Plane Trigonometry and there you have practice quizzes and tests! These are very helpful for the exams!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In this class you are mainly teaching yourself the work. Plan to spend a lot of time in tutoring sessions and Professor office hours.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I need a good relationship with my professor and they will try to look out for you and your grade. I went to my professor this semester over 15 times to go over questions that I did not understand. I learned a lot by myself and a lot from tutors and my professor during office hours.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Plan to work extremely hard and be prepared to work long hours doing home work assignments. Visit your professors office hours at all chances and don't be shy about asking questions during class. Come with questions prepared each class period.
