    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took Meteo 101 as an online course and if I had to do it all over again I would prefer to take it in person if it was offered. As an intro, elective course I spent at least 5 hours a week on this course because there were weekly quizzes and assignments that required a lot of thought and understanding of the material. Since it was online, you had to teach yourself the material.

    Course highlights:

The course forces you to learn the material however there was minimal opportunities to learn about the material from the professor. I had to get an outside tutor in order for me to understand the material in order to receive the A in the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do all of the assigned readings multiple times before completing quizzes, labs, and projects. It is really helpful to start all of the assignments well in advance because you will need all the time you can get. If you start early you can leave discussion posts and give the professor enough time to respond

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class helps entering meteorology majors to understand and comprehend the basics of Earth and Mineral Sciences. It extends the knowledge of weather and gives a basic introduction of what will be learned in the future.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of my course helped me to understand the basics of what I am about to learn later. I now understand what weather is truly about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is very important to have a set schedule considering the class is online. Its very important that there is a constant reoccurring time to take this class because it is done on your own time.
