    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I LOVED my professor. He was a native speaker, and he accurately taught us the information with plenty of time to practice what we learned with a partner.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to not be afraid of speaking in Spanish to my peers. We were graded on participation, so without speaking out loud in front of the class, you got a low participation grade which really hurts your overall grade. I learned that making mistakes talking in front of the class is okay, because everyone is in the same boat, and speaking out loud is great practice. I learned new vocabulary and verb tenses, and on the last day of classes I learned about Miguel's hometown in Spain: Ronda. It looked beautiful. Also, Miguel was the one who encouraged me to study abroad, which I plan on doing the spring semester of my Junior year.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the MySpanishLab assignments before the weekend. Each Monday, new ones are assigned that are due the following Sunday, and it makes your life SO much easier if you just get them out of the way earlier in the week, that way it doesn't take up any of your time on the weekend.
